Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer to support design and sustenance engineering activities across the complete product life cycle. The role requires strong engineering expertise, structured problem‑solving skills, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions in a manufacturing and product development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support design and sustenance engineering activities throughout the product development and product life cycle.
• Translate customer requirements, functional specifications, and abstract problem statements into clearly defined Scope of Work (SoW) and technical documentation.
• Follow established engineering work processes, ensuring accurate documentation and preparation for design and technical reviews.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, operations, quality, and technology teams to understand issues and provide technical clarifications.
• Create, review, and approve manufacturing drawings, applying strong knowledge of GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Work extensively in PLM tools and SAP environments for engineering data management, BOMs, and documentation control.
• Review, evaluate, and approve technical proposals in line with project, quality, and customer requirements.
• Identify, recommend, and implement productivity improvement initiatives, design optimization, and process efficiency opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience in design engineering, sustenance engineering, or product engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Proven experience working with PLM systems and SAP environments.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or product-based engineering environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross‑functional and global teams.
• Ability to work independently on complex engineering challenges and deliver high‑quality outcomes.

• Experience supporting global clients or multinational engineering teams.
• Exposure to product life cycle management, sustenance engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working in high‑precision or regulated manufacturing environments.
