Job summary

PVH in Singapore is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee civil and structural work on upcoming projects. You will coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, review shop drawings and method statements, and verify works against approved drawings and specifications.

You will participate in technical meetings, resolve on-site issues promptly, ensure documentation is kept ready for ISO audits, support safety initiatives, and assist site management with planning, coordination, and authority

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil and structural engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on shop drawings, samples and method statements.
• Attend project/technical meetings and resolve site issues with owner/consultants to maintain progress.
• Verify work on site complies with drawings/specifications and ensure subcontractors rectify non-compliance.
• Resolve site issues with consultants/subcontractors/suppliers promptly to minimise delays.
• Keep related documentation updated for ISO audit.

Site Engineer

Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday - Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday may need to work half day depends on project (Can claim OT)

Office at City Hall, future project

Salary: $3800 to $5400

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structure Engineering

Job scopes

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants in order for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance to the approved drawings / specifications / authority's requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP in order to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities' submission for Conquas, RI, TOP etc.
