Overview

Company Profile - Julian Grey’s client is a real estate developer seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Engineer to support the successful delivery of boutique landed property developments. This ideal candidate will oversee daily site operations, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure all works are executed with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and timely completion.

Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Project Director on site progress, risk updates, and resource planning.
  • Supervise daily construction activities and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve design and technical issues.
  • Review and approve requisitions for materials and equipment.
  • Manage all site correspondence, documentation, and records with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor workmanship, safety practices, and progress across trades on site.
  • Assist in submission of shop drawings, design documents, and as-built drawings to relevant authorities.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and prepare project updates.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in landed housing projects.
  • Familiar with project management processes across all project stages.
  • Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skilled in CAD drafting and structural analysis tools such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAFE is highly desired.
  • Willing to attend site regularly to monitor progress, coordinate works, and resolve on-site issues.
