Role Summary:

We are hiring a Site Engineer to support the Engineering & Renewal team in the planning, execution, coordination, monitoring and delivery of site-based engineering/renewal projects. The role will require working on-site as well as coordinating with design, operations and stakeholders to ensure that engineering specifications, safety, quality and schedule goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coordinate and monitor all site engineering activities: setting out, survey, execution as per drawings and specifications.
  • Review technical drawings, plans and specifications; ensure work is executed in alignment with them.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, surveyors, design engineers, project managers, local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor site progress and performance: schedule adherence, budget/materials tracking, labour productivity, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Prepare site reports, daily diaries, look-ahead schedules, risk logs, progress & quality reports.
  • Identify and resolve technical difficulties, raise issues and propose solutions proactively.
  • Ensure health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations are adhered to on site.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, resources required for site execution.
  • Support handover and close-out of site works, ensuring defect-free delivery and documentation archive.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of site engineering experience (or more, depending on project complexity) in construction, infrastructure or renewal projects.
  • Familiarity with surveying, setting-out, construction drawings, materials, and on-site practices.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, construction standards, quality control, budget & schedule management.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in variable site conditions (may require travel, outdoor work).
