Main purpose of the role
This role involves providing legal expertise in derivatives and structured products, ensuring the smooth execution of transactions and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide legal support and advice on derivatives and structured products transactions.
- Draft and review legal documents, ensuring the production of high-quality first drafts.
- Assess capacity and authority considerations in transactions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate effective transaction execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting derivatives and structured products.
Person specification
- 8 to 10 years PQE with derivatives and structured products expertise.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality first drafts of legal documents.
- Understanding of capacity and authority considerations in transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
