A leading retail company in Singapore is looking for a committed Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of a busy outlet. This role demands strong leadership and operational discipline, along with the ability to manage a small team under tight schedules. Responsibilities include overseeing store procedures, managing staff, handling customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of retail management experience and be willing to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
We are seeking a dedicated and highly committed Shop Manager to take full responsibility for the daily operations of a busy retail outlet.
This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to handle multiple challenges with minimal support.
Overseeall opening and closing proceduresincluding cash reconciliation and daily reporting.
Ensure smooth store operations during all peak periods, includingweekends, public holidays, and promotional events.
Manage staff schedules and attendance; be prepared tocover shifts on short noticedue to manpower gaps.
Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally, even when they occuroutside regular operating hours.
Conductdaily stock counts, track shrinkage, and provide corrective action plans.
Liaise with suppliers, logistics teams, and maintenance vendors without administrative assistance.
Maintain store standards, merchandising layouts, housekeeping, and compliance with HQ guidelines.
Meet weekly operational KPIs, including sales targets, inventory accuracy, and audit results.
Participate in HQ meetings and training sessions, sometimes withsame-day notice.
Beon standbyfor urgent operational matters throughout the week.
Minimum 5 years of retail supervisory or management experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small workforce under tight schedules.
Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Comfortable stepping into frontline roles (cashier, stocker, customer service) when needed.
High level of responsibility and accountability for store performance.
Ability to remain reachable during operational hours for urgent matters.
Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance.
Physically able to perform manual tasks such as stock handling and moving goods.
