Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd is hiring for a freight forwarding role in Jurong East. You will attend to local and overseas customer inquiries on freight rates and shipment arrangements, coordinate bookings, monitor shipments, and liaise with warehouses and carriers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably 1 year of Ocean/Air freight experience, with basic knowledge of NVOCC being an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Preferably 1 year experience in the Ocean/Air freight industries.
• Basic knowledge in NVOCC business.

Responsabilités

• Attend to local and overseas customers' enquiries on freight rates and shipment arrangements.
• Handle booking confirmations, shipment updates and vessel sailing schedules.
• Monitor shipments and provide regular updates until cargo arrival.
• Coordinate container bookings and follow up with shipping lines and carriers.
• Liaise with warehouses, truckers and shippers on container movements and shipment discrepancies.
• Prepare transport/railing instructions and ensure timely submission of shipping documents.
• Coordinate with internal Sales and Documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment operations.

Working hours: 8.30AM - 5.30PM (Monday - Friday)
