Job summary

Success Human Resource Centre in Singapore seeks a Permanent Logistics Coordinator to manage air/sea shipments, liaise with carriers and warehouses, and ensure timely clearance. The role requires handling customer queries, planning shipments, and maintaining accurate costing and documentation.

You will coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, monitor orders, and support sales while safeguarding profit margins.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years experience in air/sea shipping.
• Well versed and meticulous in preparation of shipping documents.
• Good knowledge of customs formalities.
• Pleasant personality and service-oriented.
• Patient, able to multi-task and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in import/export/transshipment procedures for ocean/air shipments.
• Issue billings to customers.
• Cost verification and cost update into system.
• Consol planning.
• Monitor orders and ensure payment terms are adhered.
• Manage customers queries and complaints.
• Provide sales support, ensuring profit margins as directed by the company.
• Analyze data and prepare reports reflecting findings.
• Track goods enroute to their destination and resolve problems to avoid delays.
• Maintain proper and systematic filing of documents.
• Other duties and projects as assigned by Manager.

- Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, Alt Sat 9am - 1pm
- Up to $3000 + Performance Bonus

Responsibilities:

• To co-ordinate independently with haulier, carrier, warehouse and inter-co
• To ensure timely clearance of shipments.
• Liaise with customers and warehouse for shipment planning and job executions
• Knowledgeable in import/export/transshipment procedures for ocean/air shipments.
• Issues billings to customers
• Cost verification and cost update into system.
• Consol planning
• Monitor orders and ensure payment terms are being adhered.
• Manage customers queries and complaints
• Provide Sales Support, ensuring the require profit margins as directed by the company are achieved.
• Able to analyze data and prepare reports reflecting findings
• Responsible for tracking of goods enroute to their destination and ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved so as to avoid delays.
• Maintain proper and systematic filing of documents
• Other duties, tasks and projects as may be assigned by Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

• Permit declaration knowledge with min. 3 years experience in the related industry.
• Well versed and meticulous in the preparation of air & sea shipping documents.
• Good knowledge of Customs formalities
• Pleasant personality & service-oriented
• Patient, able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Knowledge in WMS/FMS will be an added advantage.
• A self-starter and quick learner who possesses the ability to be effective at addressing issues; interfacing with both internal and external customers.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills and good cultural awareness.
