Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Shipping Coordinator (Freight Forwarding | Import & Export) to manage import/export shipments from Bukit Merah. You will coordinate shipments, liaise with customers, lines, co-loaders and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves handling Bills of Lading, invoices, permits and related documents, tracking progress, and addressing customer inquiries. Working hours are 5 days, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics coordination or import/export documentation
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, permits and related shipping documents will be preferred
• Knowledge of Singapore Customs TradeNet and/or TradeWeb will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import, export and cross-trade shipments and ensure smooth shipment arrangements.
• Liaise closely with customers, shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents and other relevant parties on shipment requirements.
• Handle a full set of import, export, cross-trade and shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices and permit-related documents.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Attend to customer enquiries and resolve shipment or documentation-related issues promptly.
• Coordinate permit applications and other shipping documentation where required.
• Support other shipping and operational duties as required.

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to S$3,500 Basic + Variable Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave
