Job summary

GMP Technologies is looking for an Marketing & Capacity Executive (Shipping) to join our Singapore team. Open to entry level candidates, training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field; added advantage.
• Open to entry level candidates; training provided.
• Strong understanding of feeder shipping operations and container logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Good numeracy skills; meticulous with details and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Line Management to confirm and provide BSA allocations in advance for services in Singapore.
• Allocate and distribute BSA to Ports of Loading in China, considering freight rates and cargo weight.
• Own the booking portal to secure bookings and maximize BSA utilization vessel-to-vessel.
• Make commercial decisions to release or reallocate space for higher revenue bookings.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to achieve market rates with confirmed loadings.
• Ensure vessels depart China port with maximum space utilization and yield.
• Provide onboarding support to new customers for booking portal usage.
• Perform other related duties as required.
