Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore seeks a Senior/Commercial Manager for a well established Shipping Brand. This customer-facing role focuses on building strong, trusted relationships with customers and partners across markets, with regular international travel.

You will own end-to-end commercial engagement, lead pricing and tender activity, and ensure open information exchange. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align offers with network capacity and costs, while expanding growth

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime or Business discipline.
• 5–8+ years in container shipping/logistics.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial mindset with customer empathy.
• Confident engaging with senior customers.
• Pricing discussions and tenders experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Relationships across assigned markets.
• Meet customers locally and overseas; travel as required.
• Be primary contact to gather feedback and align expectations.
• Lead pricing discussions, tenders, RFQs and contract renewals.
• Prepare pricing proposals with network and cost alignment.
• Support growth opportunities and new market entry.
• Coordinate with Commercial teams to align offers; report KPIs.
• Represent the company at meetings and events.
• Maintain records of visits and key discussion points.
• Provide updates to Senior Management on opportunities and market developments.
