Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an Executive (Trade Pricing)(Shipping) open to entry-level Maritime candidates in Singapore. The role focuses on pricing, quotations, and space optimization across liner services, coordinating with Line Management and local offices to support bookings.

You will develop pricing strategies, support Dead Freight customers, and maintain accurate system records. Diploma in Business/Logistics is preferred; strong numeracy, Excel, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Logistics, or shipping-related field preferred.
• Open to entry level with training provided.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor space availability on assigned services and coordinate with Line Management and local offices to optimize space utilization.
• Provide timely and market-aligned quotations to customers, supporting booking confirmations and satisfaction.
• Develop and review pricing strategies to maximize yield while aligning with market trends and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with local offices on inquiries, volume forecasts and service strategies to protect market share.
• Maintain DF contracts, rate filings, allocations, and amendments in systems to ensure accuracy.
