POSITION

Shipping Administrator – Singapore

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role ensures smooth import and export operations by coordinating with logistics partners, planners and carriers to prepare accurate shipping documents and permits on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee all shipping and trade documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing while coordinating with suppliers and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage resources, people and processes by setting clear objectives, priorities and plans, overseeing budgets, systems, and workflows, and leading professional projects.
  • Contribute to team performance by aligning work with company goals, supporting collaboration and personal development and ensuring readiness for future responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments, peers, management and third‑party logistic (3PL) partners to ensure smooth management of business requirements.
  • Proactively suggest and implement ideas to improve workflows and processes within the Shipping Team and across other functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Have at least ‘O’ level education and 2+ years’ experience in Shipping, 3PL or Freight Forwarding; preferably with SAP experience.
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners.
  • Are proficient in MS Office and demonstrate the ability to prioritize, monitor and follow up tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with TradeNet, Form D and other shipping documents is a plus, along with knowledge of SG Customs, NParks and other regulatory requirements.
  • Can maintain inventory integrity, meet KPIs, ensure timely logistics execution and build effective relationships across teams and partners.
