Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Technical Service Manager to manage effective service delivery and train local teams. The role requires strong technical knowledge in transmission electron microscopes, at least 8-10 years of experience, and proficiency in Japanese for effective communication with headquarters. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, along with a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. This position may include overseas travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience with transmission electron microscopes.
• Strong technical knowledge on transmission electron microscopes and analytical instruments.
• Knowledge of Japanese is essential for customer support.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage effective technical service delivery to customers in Singapore/Asia Pacific/Middle East.
• Train local and regional service teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical consultation and advisory services to local and regional teams.

• to manage effective technical service delivery to customers in Singapore/Asia Pacific/Middle East
• to train local and regional service teams to resolve technical issues
• to provide technical consultation and advisory service to local and regional service teams
• to transfer technical knowledge from Headquarters (Japan) on technical issues and new instruments development to local and regional teams

Requirements:

• Qualifications - Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or related discipline with strong technical background дәри
• minimum 8 to 10 years experience of working in the field transmission electron microscopes and analytical instruments
• strong technical knowledge on field of transmission electron microscopes and analytical instruments
• knowledge of Japanese is essential as supporting Japanese Customers and Communicating with Headquarters in Japan
