Job summary

A leading reinsurance firm is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Treaty team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in treaty reinsurance with a strong focus on the Indonesian market. Responsibilities include developing client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and negotiating treaty programs. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly desirable. This is a senior, client-facing role with strategic responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in treaty reinsurance broking.
• Strong exposure to the Indonesian market.
• Established relationships with cedants and reinsurers.
• Proven track record in originating and placing treaty reinsurance programs.
• Strong technical knowledge of treaty structures and underwriting principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with cedants and reinsurers.
• Identify new business opportunities in the Indonesian market.
• Lead negotiations for treaty programs with reinsurers.
• Provide insights into market trends and regulatory developments.
