A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to provide specialised nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Job description

As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialised nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work closely with doctors and the multidisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and ensure high standards of clinical care around the clock.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, continuous nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, monitoring and assessing their condition regularly.
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and other critical data, alerting the care team to changes.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and support advanced life‑support interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals and family members to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
  • Uphold infection control, patient safety protocols and hospital policies at all times.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to unit performance goals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care needs and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Nurse Managers or senior clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Must be registered Nurse with recognised nursing qualifications.
  • Possess at least a full‑time, recognised Diploma/ Degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced Diploma in Critical Care or relevant discipline.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years direct relevant working experience in acute hospital ICU settings preferred.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work 3 rotating shifts and weekends on a scheduled roster.
