Job summary

A healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Staff Nurse to deliver specialized nursing care and assist in patient education. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Nursing, be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and preferably have 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves direct patient care, collaboration with medical staff, and ability to perform both simple and complex procedures.

Job description
SENIOR/ STAFF NURSE

You will be responsible for delivering specialized direct and indirect nursing care, as well as patient education, through the management, coordination, and evaluation of care activities for patients undergoing endoscopy and radiology procedures. Your role includes in collaborating with other staff nurses and guide other junior team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experiences.

Job Description
  1. Conduct objective assessment, evaluation, and documentation of patients' conditions.
  2. Perform complex or simple procedures, both non-invasive and invasive, within your scope of duties.
  3. Assist radiographer in positioning patient for the scans and administering the IV contrast.
  4. Ensure the safe transfer of patients pre-operatively from reception/recovery to the procedure room and vice versa.
  5. Assist in cardiac monitoring services; ECG, Treadmill ECG, 24Hr Holter/BP Monitoring
  6. Prepare and register patients for endoscopy procedures, including setting IV cannula, venipuncture and preparing IV medications and sedations when necessary.
  7. Uphold and maintain sterility and aseptic techniques during procedures.
  8. Chaperone our GP doctor during consultation when necessary.
  9. Adaptable and flexible to do basic front-counter duties and adhoc tasks such as registering patients, vital signs taking and billing patient.
Job Requirements
