A leading traditional cuisine restaurant in Singapore is seeking a Senior Specialised Noodles Chef with 8–10 years of experience in traditional Chinese noodle preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in dough preparation and hand-pulled noodles and will ensure consistent quality in a high-volume setting. This full-time role includes a competitive monthly salary of SGD 6,000 - 7,000, meals during work, and compliance with MOM regulations for leave and rest days.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialised Noodles Chef with extensive hands‑on experience in traditional Chinese noodle preparation. This role requires advanced and specialised techniques such as fresh dough preparation, hand‑pulled noodles, soup base consistency, and high‑volume execution.
Due to the specialised nature of traditional noodle craftsmanship, these skills are not commonly available in the local labour market and require many years of practical experience.
Prepare and cook traditional Chinese noodle dishes with consistent quality
Perform daily fresh noodle production, including dough preparation, stretching, and cooking
Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all noodle items
Manage noodle production volume according to daily operational needs
Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Proper handling and storage of ingredients and raw materials
Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours
Support kitchen operations and guide junior staff when required
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant working experience as a specialised noodles chef
Strong practical expertise in traditional Chinese noodle‑making techniques
Experience in high‑volume noodle or Chinese cuisine restaurants
Ability to work long hours in a fast‑paced F&B environment
Physically fit and committed to consistent kitchen operations
Strong work discipline, reliability, and teamwork
Formal culinary certificates are not mandatory. Assessment is based on proven experience, skills, and operational competency.
Monthly Salary: SGD 6,000 – 7,000 (commensurate with experience and skill level)
Meals provided during working hours
Annual leave and rest days in accordance with MOM regulations
Eligible for S Pass application
Salary level structured to support spouse and one child (Dependant’s Pass consideration)
6 days work week
Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays
