A leading community service organization in Singapore is looking for a Senior Social Worker to manage mental health interventions and guide multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work, be a registered social worker, and possess prior supervisory experience. Responsibilities include conducting casework, engaging stakeholders, and implementing community development initiatives. This role offers a chance to uplift professional practice in social work and contribute to community awareness around mental health issues.
The Community Outreach Team (CREST) focuses on raising public awareness of mental health conditions and dementia, promotes early recognition of at-risk individuals, provides emotional support to individuals and their caregivers and links individuals to relevant health and social care services when necessary.
The Senior Social Worker is qualified and trained to assist in managing mental health interventions and programmes and uplifting the professional practice in social work. He/she guides multi-disciplinary teams to implement and evaluate casework and group work and also organises strategic community development initiatives, programmes and research. He/she supervises social workers and supports their professional development.
An experienced professional who is insightful, responsible and possesses the willingness to supervise, the Senior Social Worker also collaborates with other agencies and ministries in the course of his work.
