Job summary

A construction management company in Singapore is seeking an individual for project and contracts administration. The role requires timely management of progress claims, budget preparations, and procurement matters involving subcontractors. A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines is necessary, along with proficiency in MS Office. Candidates should be meticulous, able to work under pressure, and have excellent communication skills. The position may start on short notice.

Job Description
  • Carry out project/contracts administration matters in a timely manner, including monthly progress claims, variation claims, extension of time notifications/claims to clients etc in accordance with terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Perform taking off quantities and prepare costing and budget for projects, including analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
  • Assist on procurement matters such as subcontractors and vendors quotations.
  • Valuing and verifying completed work such as progress claims from subcontractors and vendors, based on actual works completed, including variation claims from vendors.
  • Follow up with clients on certification and payment of work done based on the prevailing SOP Act.
  • Assist to finalize project accounts with clients and vendors.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Head of Department or senior colleagues.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering/ Building/ Construction Management or related disciplines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) and possesses good communication skills.
  • Able to meet tight scheduled duties assigned.
  • Meticulous and has positive work attitude.
  • Responsible, able to work under pressure and good team player.
  • Able to start work on short notice will have an advantage.
