A local construction firm in Singapore is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage tender documents, evaluate subcontractor claims, and prepare project budgets. The ideal candidate should hold a degree or diploma in Building/Quantity Surveying and have at least three years of relevant experience. A collaborative spirit with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines are essential for this role.
Check tender documents for completeness and update tender amendment and corrigendum
Check for discrepancy and raise tender query
Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities
Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires
Prepare project budget and cashflow
Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement
Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection
Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment
Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment
Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts
Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.
Degree/ Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying
3 years relevant experience
Able to work independently
Team player with Positive learning and Positive working attitude
Able to work under tight deadline with less supervision
