A Quantity Surveyor (QS) Manager oversees the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, managing costs from initial estimates and budgeting through tendering, procurement, contract administration, and final account settlement, ensuring projects stay within budget by liaising with clients, engineers, and contractors, managing claims, variations, and risks.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • To Ensure all tender documents, pricing schedules, and forms are completed and submitted on time.
  • Attend tender clarifications and provide commercial support to management.
  • Maintain tender records, cost data, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • To prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submission.
  • Monitor budgets, track variations, and handle progress claims and cost reporting.
  • To Advise on contractual issues, commercial risks, and cost control strategies.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in quantity surveying and bid/estimation process of building construction.
  • Strong Knowledge in tendering processes and pricing.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
