Job summary

CPC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing, purchasing and supplier management for construction projects in Singapore.

You will develop procurement policies, issue purchase orders, negotiate with local and overseas vendors, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Experience with Doxa software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration or Procurement.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction procurement.
• Resourceful with strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; adaptable to fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Doxa software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and purchasing tasks efficiently.
• Delegate procurement activities to source, negotiate and purchase materials from local and overseas vendors.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and SOPs.
• Oversee daily purchasing needs, PO issuance and delivery/shipment schedules.
• Manage key suppliers to achieve reliable delivery performance.
• Check supplier invoices for accuracy.
• Coordinate with project personnel on procurement activities and report market trends.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure support for procurement and purchasing tasks are completed quickly, efficiently and adequately
• Delegate procurement team to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and standard operating procedures
• Responsible for daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
• Manage key suppliers to achieve desirable levels of delivery performance
• Negotiate with existing suppliers to maintain cost competitiveness
• Oversees stock control and support project materials delivery requirements.
• Conduct inventory audit at supply sites and report discrepancies where appropriate
• Must be resourceful and be able to solve critical requirement
• Coordinate with project personnel on project procurement activities.
• Check and verify supplier's invoices and ensure accuracy
• Updating the management on market trends and status.
• Any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate should possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business administration, Procurement, or other relevant degree
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, and several years in Construction industry
• Resourceful and possess excellent negotiation, analytical and good communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills, problem-solving skills and committed personality.
• Effective and good team player who is able to adapt to fast paced environments.
• Experience with Doxa software will be an advantage.
