Job summary

tien seng engineering pte. ltd. is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing for construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. You will source, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate terms to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.

The role involves coordinating with project managers, site teams, and QS professionals, maintaining records, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Obtain quotations, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and quantity surveyors to meet project procurement requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contract disputes.
