Job summary

SINGCON (M & E) SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Procurement & Administration role focused on construction projects in Singapore. You will source, negotiate with suppliers, issue POs, and coordinate deliveries to project sites to ensure schedules are met.

You will also manage inventory, maintain supplier records, and assist with manpower admin tasks while collaborating with project and accounts teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and claims.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in supply chain, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement or administration, preferably in construction/main contractor environment.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and site operations is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/procurement systems experience is a plus.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills; able to coordinate between suppliers, project teams, and site staff.
  • Able to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials, tools, equipment, and services.
  • Prepare material request forms, obtain quotations, evaluate cost competitiveness, and issue purchase orders (POs).
  • Coordinate deliveries to project sites, ensuring timeliness and compliance with project schedules.
  • Monitor inventory of site materials, track usage, and liaise with site supervisors/engineers for material requests.
  • Maintain supplier database and assess supplier performance for reliability, pricing, and quality.
  • Resolve discrepancies relating to deliveries, invoices, or quality issues.
  • Handle documentation for procurement, contracts, and project-related correspondence.
  • Maintain proper filing of POs, invoices, delivery orders, and supplier agreements.
  • Assist with manpower-related administrative tasks (e.g., worker documentation, safety passes, permit renewals) as required.
  • Support office management tasks such as stationery and supplies, scheduling, and record keeping.
  • Coordinate with project and accounts teams to ensure smooth processing of invoices and claims.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement (Construction Focus)
