What it's about

Partners Group's Evergreen Product Control team is seeking a talented Product Controller (Accounting Data Analytics) to join our growing Asia team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting for our private equity funds. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic global team and contribute to the continued success of Partners Group.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve Net Asset Values and Financial Statements prepared by external service providers. Including monitoring performance and rationalizing the NAV movement within the portfolio, by overseeing financial controls and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain accounting review tools and models to enhance efficiency and accuracy in private markets operations.
  • Operate and improve firm-wide private markets models, systems, and data landscapes.
  • Manage complex accounting data and system change requests for all Partners Group programs, ensuring adherence to predefined processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Assist third-party partners associated with our registered funds, including auditors, fund administrators, and custodians, by coordinating workflows and reviewing deliverables.
  • Serve as a key product expert, utilizing analytical insights to support decision-making.
  • Foster communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics to streamline operations.
  • Write, edit, and maintain technical requirement specifications, reports, and documentation related to project and process improvement implementations.
What we expect
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a specialization in Data Analytics
  • 4-6 years of experience in private markets fund accounting, and/or financial reporting is preferred. Prior experience in accounting and/or financial reporting of private credit funds is a plus.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (such as VBA, SQL, or Python) and advanced Excel skills for the development and enhancement of accounting analytics tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Responsible, accountable, and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse global environment.
