A garment manufacturing company seeks a Senior Procurement Executive in Singapore. Responsibilities include overseeing procurement operations, managing supplier relations, and ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in supply chain management and have at least 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, alongside strong negotiation and analytical skills. This role demands the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This Senior Procurement Executive will be based in Singapore and report to Procurement Manager. He or She needs to support our internal stakeholders, enabling operations to meet key organisational objectives.
Assist in day-to-day procurement operations in accordance with Procurement policies.
Liaise with business units and divisions to keep track of procurement data and activity in order to meet operational requirements.
Identify, evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality and delivery performance.
Responsible for the procurement and supplier management of raw materials for garment production.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and sustainability requirements.
Monitor procurement spending aligns with budget targets and operational needs.
Identify information and documentation required for approval of the purchase requisition and advise end-users accordingly.
Perform invoices matching to supplier’s invoices with supporting documents such as PO & DO.
Maintain supplier database and update supplier list.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement process and efficiency.
Assist HOD in ensuring all services and works are conducted in compliance with company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls, and legal requirements.
Other ad-hoc initiatives and projects may be assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/Procurement or equivalent.
5 years of procurement experiences or similar position in a manufacturing industry.
Good knowledge procurement best practices and cost analysis.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Meticulous, self-driven and independent.
Experience in ERP System will be an added advantage.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
