Roles & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Executive I to lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing for civil, mechanical, electrical, and maintenance projects. You will ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining compliance with project specifications and company policies. This role also involves mentoring junior procurement staff and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead procurement for civil, mechanical, electrical projects, and maintenance.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Manage RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders per project and company standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements.
  • Develop new supplier partnerships and conduct market benchmarking for cost savings.
Procurement Administration & Documentation
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of procurement records, including PQs, POs, tenders, and contracts.
  • Review high-value or critical purchases for budget, technical, and compliance alignment.
  • Maintain transparent, up-to-date ERP records (e.g., Business Central).
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve delivery, specification, or payment issues.
  • Monitor and enforce contract terms and delivery schedules.
Coordination & Communication
  • Act as liaison between project teams, finance, management, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate material planning and align supply with project schedules.
  • Facilitate vendor negotiations and guide procurement staff on escalations.
  • Provide updates on procurement status, market trends, and supplier performance.
Cost Control & Budget Management
  • Analyze material and service costs to support project planning and value engineering.
  • Ensure purchases align with budgets and cost benchmarks.
  • Support site teams with cost comparison and evaluation reports.
  • Monitor budgets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking, and supplier performance reporting.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all procurement activities follow internal policies, approvals, and governance.
  • Coordinate with finance on contracts, payments, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready procurement records and support ISO/quality processes.
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation for critical supplies and contracts.
  • Promote ethical, transparent, and accountable procurement practices.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
  • Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering growth and teamwork.
  • Lead process improvements and optimize workflows.
  • Provide strategic insights on suppliers, costs, and market trends.
  • Promote collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–8 years procurement experience, with supervisory experience in construction or mechanical sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of local suppliers, materials, and contract management.
Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of supply chain, inventory, and logistics is a plus.

Working Location : West Zone
Working Days : 5.5 Days
Working Hours : Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm
