Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead projects in the planning and design of mechanical engineering works. Responsibilities include supervising the installation and commissioning of projects, while ensuring compliance with local codes. Ideal candidates should possess a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board and at least 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for infrastructure works. Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the planning and design of Mechanical engineering works for building services and infrastructure works.
• Review reports, specifications, calculations, drawings and other documents prepared for the different stages of a project.
• Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of Mechanical engineering works.
• Work together with other disciplines in feasibility studies and design, as well as to ensure excellent service delivery to Clients.
• Job Title will correspond with project experience acquired and individual competency in technical knowledge/skills, project management and contract administration.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Preferably 6 years and above relevant experience in Mechanical engineering design for building services and infrastructure works.
• Good working experience in a consulting firm with a proven track record in major development projects.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Strong planning, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit is advantageous.
