Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. Singapore seeks a Process Development Engineer to advance CMP for 3D NAND and future nodes. You will partner with global teams to deploy CMP processes that meet technology requirements and enable high-volume production readiness.

You will lead experiments, optimize margins, and mentor engineers while integrating AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality across the development program.

Qualifications

• PhD with ≥5 years, or Master's with ≥7 years, or Bachelor's with ≥10 years in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Deep CMP process development expertise with hands-on CMP equipment operation (polishing, slurry, pads) for advanced nodes.
• Strong data analytics and DoE experience; able to interpret complex experimental data.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and leadership across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead CMP process characterization and development for 3D NAND and next-gen nodes.
• Collaborate with global teams (US, Taiwan, IDF) to develop CMP processes aligned with technology requirements.
• Transfer processes to high-volume manufacturing and drive yield, performance, and manufacturability improvements.
• Design and execute experiments to validate robustness and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technology direction.
