Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Staff/Principal Engineer for CMP process development and 3D NAND (NAND) research.

You will own CMP procedures, margins, and hardware evaluation across process areas including Wet etch, CVD, Diffusion, Metals, Lithography and Dry Etch, collaborating with global teams to meet program goals. You will mentor, drive cross-functional projects, and contribute to IP through patents/papers while ensuring adherence to Micron's IP policy.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD with 5–10 years or Bachelors with 7–12 years in CMP for 300mm wafer fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CMP procedures to improve quality and reliability for 3D NAND parts.
• Improve process margins to meet mature yield goals for 3D NAND parts.
• Perform fundamental research, consumables development, and hardware evaluation for advanced CMP; test for novel applications.
• Initiate experiments to widen process margins and evaluate manufacturability of next node solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors to meet integration requirements for current and next-gen 3D NAND nodes.
• Incorporate best manufacturing practices early in development of upcoming nodes.
• Design and implement advanced process monitoring and control methodologies.
• Provide strategic roadmap for N+, N++ and future NAND nodes.
