Job summary

A leading marine engineering firm is seeking a Marine Service Engineer to perform servicing and repair of marine engines. This role requires 8–10 years of hands-on experience and a diploma or degree in Marine & Offshore Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. It entails working onboard vessels and in shipyards, overseeing engine components and ensuring effective communication with customers. The position offers up to $10,000 in salary plus OT and bonuses, with on-call availability required.

Qualifications

• Preferably 8–10 years of hands-on experience in marine engine repair.
• Willing to work in shipyards/anchorage and perform overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Marine engine servicing & repair including overhaul and maintenance.
• Onboard and shipyard operations following safety procedures.
• Oversee engine parts reconditioning and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and prepare job reports.
• Supervise apprentices/technicians if required.
