Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager/Manager, Payroll to lead and oversee the end-to-end payroll function. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant payroll operations across the organization. The successful candidate will manage a payroll team, drive process optimization, and support system rollouts and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and motivate the payroll team to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable payroll processing across the organization.
  • Uphold statutory requirements, company policies, and strict confidentiality of payroll data at all times.
  • Identify process gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and streamline workflows to improve payroll efficiency and service delivery.
  • Lead or support initiatives such as BCP, RPA, and digital enhancements to scale operations and improve accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to roll out SAP locally and regionally, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resource, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in a Shared Services environment, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll best practices, employment legislation, CPF, and tax regulations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
