What you will be working on

Your Meaningful and Impactful Role (Key Responsibilities):

  • Proactively evaluate and respond to stakeholders reports and public feedback on online content, ensuring a dynamic and adaptive online safety approach.
  • Conduct thorough and balanced assessments on potentially harmful online material, taking swift and decisive action to address them.
  • Undertake multiple stakeholder negotiations with Industry and coordination with Whole of Government in relation to victim relief against online harmful material.
  • This role demands weekend on-call duty at least once a month. Your dedication will be instrumental in upholding the safety of Singapore's online space.
What we are looking for
  • Background in Humanities, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Mass Communications or Legal Studies.
  • Strong interest in online safety, and good knowledge of how online platforms and services operate, including social media services and app stores.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Public Policy, Online Content Regulation, Online Trust and Safety, Content Moderation, Horizon Scanning, Strategic Futures work would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, inter-personal and writing skills.
