Job summary

A growing HR solutions firm in Singapore seeks an HR Manager to develop and implement strategies for attracting and retaining talent. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant experience, including managerial roles in strategic HR. Responsibilities include formulating local HR policies, advising management on HR matters, and driving business excellence initiatives. Effective leadership and communication skills are imperative to succeed in this role. A strong HR strategic background and the ability to manage people positively are vital.

Job description
Roles & Responsibilities

Resposibilities:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for attracting, retaining, motivating, and managing talented individuals who contribute to the organization’s success. To create policies and programs that align with the company’s vision, mission and business strategy.

  • Be a change agent (integrates organizations & cultures, supports ongoing changes programs & processes).
  • Translate business challenges/priorities into HR solutions.
  • Formulate and implement local HR policies and procedures with global guidelines.
  • Advisory/coaching role to Management/Line Managers in all HR matters incl. employment laws/practices governing the country.
  • Plan and develop the organization’s business plans, taking into account the projected growth, to determine future staffing, hierarchical, and remuneration needs, which address management structures, learning and development needs, remuneration options, and organizational development.
  • Driving the Implementation of the HR Plans and Monitoring Results to ensure effectiveness of all HR processes/systems and seek for continuous improvement.
  • Build & maintain good Management-Employee Relations in an office environment.
  • Implement Omega Talent Pipeline (identify Management development candidates & engage in discussion with local Line Management, General Manager, Management).
  • Maintain overall supervision/direction of HR department including development of staff.
  • Participate in the HR Network/Projects as required including proactive sharing of infomation and best practices with other local HR Managers in the region.
  • Support in some aspects office administration including, but not limited to, maintenance, leasing, insurance, office equipment and purchasing of supplies (non-inventory items).
  • Understand and embrace use of technology to improve HR processes.
  • Champion the Business Excellence Initiatives to drive the company to the journey of SQC.
Requirements
  • General Degree, Degree in HRM or related field.
  • Min. 7 years relevant experience in strategic HR field, with approx. 4-5 years of experiences in managerial position.
  • Effective Leadership qualities in managing local HR team or any other assigned project team.
  • Advance ability to manage People issues positively.
  • Good ability to communicate ideas, concepts and information.
  • Sound ability in building & maintaining relationships with HR stakeholders.
  • Reliable & proactive skills and attitude in solving problems, managing conflict and making decision.
  • Sufficient cross-functional, cost and business awareness to support management team in running the Company’s business.
  • Effective Coaching skills to assist managers and associates to improve their performance and relationships.
  • Sound IR skills in a manufacturing environment with experience in handling any Employee Relation issues.
