Job summary

How You Will Make an Impact

The Senior Manager, Finance (Openings) - APACx is responsible for supervising and providing day-to-day guidance to the hotel finance team, including, but not limited to, the timely setup of systems, licenses, insurance, banking, and reporting, as well as general support to the hotel-based Finance Team on all opening-related matters.

Coordinate the review and timely completion of tasks on the checklist between regional teams, the hotel-based finance leader, and other relevant hotel-based teams for opening hotels in APAC (excluding China).

Standard opening finance tasks, including:

Onboarding of each new on-property finance team, including assignment of training, follow-up, and performance issue escalation.

Ongoing support to on-property finance team members.

With the assistance of the regional team, coordinate resources for the task force.

Coordination of waiver requests to the Regional Office for any deemed requirement to vary from Policy.

Before the Opening Date, confirm that all insurances are in place from the Owner and/or by Hilton.

Act as a strong support to the on-property finance team members on any compliance points, daily processes, team structure, applicable waivers, etc. Assist in identifying the latest document to use to verify compliance with finance policies and procedures before and after hotel opening.

Either remote-based or on-site visit reports will be generated for all properties to summarize Finance-related issues and provide constructive suggestions to address challenges that may arise.

Define and confirm the details of any change in the operating/employing entity.

Act as a liaison between the hotel team and regional teams to provide updates on licensees and insurances, by creating and maintaining comprehensive schedules to track and cross-reference the terms, expiration dates, termination provisions, applicable insurance limits, etc., for all required Licenses, Permits, and Inspections.
