Job description

We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals to be part of a team which oversees the development, validation and refinement of business continuity plans to ensure that the airport continues to operate during emergencies and crisis.

In the course of work, you are expected to:

  • Lead and monitor emergency response and business continuity plans across CAG’s operational domains.
  • Manage and mentor a team to achieve the team’s objectives and ensure alignment with CAG’s Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) framework and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with airport stakeholders and government agencies to collaborate in times of crisis and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with airport stakeholders to identify risk areas, propose mitigations to minimise any disruption to critical airport operations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the conduct of exercises aimed at validating emergency and business continuity plans.
  • Represent CAG at emergency exercises, ensuring CAG’s interests and protocols are well-articulated.
  • Develop and maintain a structured framework to train and familiarise staff with emergency response and business continuity plans.
  • Oversee and maintain crisis management facilities, ensuring readiness and operational integrity.

As a team leader, you will:

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to the BCP team.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that business continuity strategies are embedded across departments.
  • Lead evaluations of the airport’s critical systems, to adopt a resilience by design mindset.
  • Lead performance evaluations, after‑action reviews, and improvement planning for the BCMS programme.
  • Champion a crisis‑ready mindset, fostering a culture of resilience and preparedness throughout the organisation.
  • Ensure competency development through structured training, rotation, and external engagement for team members.

This role is highly dynamic and challenging. You are expected to excel in all areas of crisis management and business continuity planning. You should possess:

  • Extensive knowledge or working experience in business continuity, crisis management, and emergency planning within a large organisation.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing cross‑functional teams and driving enterprise‑wide resilience initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in crisis management and/or business continuity planning within a large organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge or working experience in business continuity, crisis management, and emergency planning.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and government agencies.
  • Self‑motivated and independent, with a demonstrated ability to multi‑task and perform in high‑pressure environments.
  • Experience in team leadership and people management is essential.
