Job summary

The Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to support infrastructure maintenance and finance functions within the unit. The role emphasizes ensuring facilities remain operational to meet training needs, and to manage end-to-end financial transactions, audits, and compliance across infrastructure and logistics activities.

Responsibilities include audit readiness, regular inspections, liaison with Integrated Facilities Management, and guiding staff on finance

Qualifications

• Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and finance is preferred.
• Familiarity with infrastructure maintenance and finance processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the unit for annual infrastructure and logistics audits and execute remedial actions following audit findings.
• Account for unit infrastructure as part of annual requirements and maintain all unit infrastructure through regular inspections.
• Liaise with Integrated Facilities Management for the maintenance of infrastructure as required.
• Process all end-to-end infrastructure financial transactions for the unit.
• Track purchase requests, orders, and goods received to ensure prudent usage aligned to existing guidelines.
• Guide unit personnel on finance procedures and processes.
• Prepare the unit for annual finance audits and execute remedial actions following audit findings.
