Job summary

The Ministry of Defence of Singapore seeks an experienced auditor to lead the Finance and Procurement Audit Section within Army units, evaluating internal controls and identifying weaknesses to improve financial and procurement practices.

In this role you will plan and conduct audits, review compliance with policies, prepare findings, and drive follow-up on recommendations, with a focus on stakeholder management and leadership.

Qualifications

• Education in Accountancy, Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, finance, or audit fields.
• Familiarity and proficiency in procurement and enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the F&P Audit Section in conducting audits across Army units, identifying systemic weaknesses.
• Assess internal controls to drive improvements in financial and procurement management.
• Plan and conduct audits across Army units to assess effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare audit findings and reports, and follow up on the implementation of recommendations.
