Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore is seeking a capable professional to manage infrastructure maintenance and finance processes, ensuring facilities remain operational and audits are handled efficiently to support training needs.

You will drive end-to-end financial transactions, asset inspections, and proactive stakeholder engagement to maintain compliance and enable smooth defence operations across units.

Job description

What the role is:

You will support the unit in managing infrastructure maintenance and finance matters to ensure facilities remain operational and meet training needs.

What you will be working on:

• Prepare the unit for annual infrastructure and logistics audits and execute remedial actions following audit findings
• Account for unit infrastructure as part of annual requirements and maintain all unit infrastructure through regular inspections
• Liaise with Integrated Facilities Management for the maintenance of infrastructure as required
• Process all end-to-end infrastructure financial transactions for the unit
• Track purchase requests, orders, and goods received to ensure prudent usage aligned to existing guidelines
• Guide unit personnel on finance procedures and processes
• Prepare the unit for annual finance audits and execute remedial actions following audit findings

Challenge(s)

Developing and maintaining familiarity with a wide scope of guidelines and directives governing infrastructure and finance functions to ensure compliance across all transactions and processes

What we are looking for:

• Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and finance is preferred
• Familiarity in infrastructure maintenance and finance processes
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to liaise effectively across internal and external stakeholders
