Job summary

searchasia consulting pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager in Singapore to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of building services.

You will manage ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, lifts/escalators, BMS, and other critical infrastructure. The role involves developing preventive maintenance programmes, asset lifecycle plans, and leading upgrades and refurbishments to minimize disruption while ensuring compliance with safety and building

Qualifications

• 8+ years of facilities management experience.
• Experience in mixed development environments.
• Experience in developer environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance and reliability of building services to ensure smooth property operations.
• Manage performance of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, lifts/escalators, BMS and other critical building infrastructure.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and asset lifecycle plans.
• Lead upgrading, replacement, refurbishment and A&A works to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, fire safety, workplace safety and building regulations.
• Develop and manage facilities OPEX and CAPEX budgets and identify efficiency opportunities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance and reliability of building services, M&E systems and facilities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted property operations
• Manage the performance and maintenance of key systems including ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, lifts/escalators, BMS and other critical building infrastructure.
• Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, equipment lifecycle plans and asset improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and minimise downtime.
• Lead and coordinate upgrading, replacement, refurbishment and A&A works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, fire safety, workplace safety and building regulations, while maintaining appropriate emergency response and business continuity procedures.
• Develop and manage facilities OPEX and CAPEX budgets, monitor expenditure and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and lifecycle costs.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in Facilities Management, ideally in mixed Development
