Job summary

AccountStaff is seeking a senior Facilities Manager to lead the MEP-focused facilities management team in Singapore. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, lifecycle management, and driving asset reliability across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

You will oversee ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, water and other building systems, while managing budgets, contracts, and vendor performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in related engineering or FM discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Facilities Management or MEP maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and BMS.
• Experience with maintenance programs, contracts and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of integrated facilities management services, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize asset reliability.
• Oversee ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, water, and other building services systems.
• Lead and supervise Facilities Team.
• Conduct asset condition assessments, root cause analysis, and lifecycle replacement plans.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contracts, procurement, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, workplace safety requirements, and quality management systems.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams on maintenance, upgrading, and project execution.
• Drive energy management, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
• Support business development, tender submissions, technical consultancy, and contract renewals.

Job description

Lead and manage the Facilities Management team, ensuring the effective operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems. Drive service excellence, regulatory compliance, asset reliability, and client satisfaction across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Facilities Management or MEP maintenance,
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
• Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, contracts, and multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
