Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee a team responsible for the upkeep of building services and M&E systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise technicians, and drive root-cause analyses to enhance reliability. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Property, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or integrated facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, fire protection, HVAC, lifts/escalators, and M&E equipment).
• Experience leading or supervising engineering or maintenance teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Technical executives in the maintenance of integrated facilities.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure reliability and availability of building systems.
• Provide technical guidance for fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and equipment rectification.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently per quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Maintain building services including electrical, fire protection, HVAC, lifts, and infrastructure systems in optimal condition.
• Manage maintenance records, work orders, and documentation for reporting and compliance.
• Lead safety initiatives by performing risk assessments and safety inspections in line with WSH regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to meet standards.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in incident response and engineering support during service disruptions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Property, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, building services, infrastructure maintenance, or integrated facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, fire protection, HVAC, lifts, escalators, and other M&E equipment.
• Prior experience leading or supervising engineering or maintenance teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance planning skills.
• Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment and support emergency or incident response when required.
