Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Building Maintenance Manager in Singapore to oversee facilities management for corporate offices and an extensive retail network. You will lead lifecycle management, capital planning, and budget control to ensure optimal performance and uptime across all properties.

Responsibilities include overseeing security systems, maintaining MEP infrastructure, and managing contractors with strict KPIs and SLAs to ensure reliable, compliant facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.
• 3 years of facilities & building management experience preferred, including leadership/supervisory roles.
• Fluent in English and Chinese to liaise with associates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: lead maintenance and lifecycle management of corporate offices and retail outlets.
• Capital Planning: develop and execute long-term preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Budgetary Control: manage facilities budget including CAPEX/OPEX planning and cost-benefit analysis for major repairs.
• Security Architecture: oversee CCTV networks, biometric access, and intruder alarms across all properties.
• Systems Management: ensure MEP systems operate efficiently to support retail operations.
• Contractor Relations: source, negotiate with, and manage third-party vendors and contractors with clear KPIs and SLAs.

• Portfolio Management: Lead the maintenance and life-cycle management of all corporate offices and retail outlets.

• Capital Planning: Develop and execute long-term preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize the longevity of building assets.

• Budgetary Control: Manage the facilities budget, including CAPEX/OPEX planning, cost-benefit analysis for major repairs, and ensuring all works are delivered within financial parameters.

• Security Architecture: Oversee the integration and reliability of high-level security systems, including CCTV networks, biometric access, and intruder alarms across all properties.

• Systems Management: Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems function at peak efficiency to support retail operations.

• Contractor Relations: Source, negotiate with, and manage third-party vendors and specialized contractors. Set high standards for KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
