Job summary

Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems within assigned buildings, ensuring reliable operation, preventive maintenance, and statutory compliance.

You will plan maintenance, inspect installations, coordinate with term contractors and service providers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure work safety and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building M&E systems and maintenance practices.
• Good troubleshooting, coordination and contractor management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Professional certifications or statutory licences will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and other building services.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and minimise breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections of M&E installations and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with term contractors, service providers and consultants to ensure maintenance works are completed safely, timely and to the required standards.
• Troubleshoot M&E equipment and systems and coordinate rectification works where required.
• Monitor contractors' performance, work quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Ensure all statutory inspections, testing, certification and regulatory requirements are complied with.
• Review maintenance records, service reports and equipment performance, and recommend improvements.

• Strong knowledge of building M&E systems and maintenance practices.
• Good troubleshooting, coordination and contractor management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Relevant professional certifications or statutory licences will be an advantage.
