1. Global Insights & Best Practices
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify international trends and innovations in job security.
- Evaluate the feasibility of adapting global best practices to the local context.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance JSC’s initiatives.
2. Coordination & Integration
- Facilitate alignment and collaboration across JSC units and with other NTUC divisions.
- Coordinate efforts on cross-cutting issues, including prioritisation of greenfield companies.
- Ensure cohesive planning and execution of JSC’s strategic initiatives.
3. Technological Innovation
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve JSC’s operational processes.
- Conceptualise tech-enabled solutions based on business needs.
- Collaborate with the Technology Office (TO) to develop and integrate solutions with NTUC systems (e.g., AiCC, VCC).
4. Communications Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for JSC.
- Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging.
5. Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Own and manage statistical tracking of JSC’s effectiveness.
- Define clear performance indicators and monitor progress.
- Ensure accountability through regular analysis and reporting.
6. Secretariat & Reporting
- Serve as the secretariat for JSC-related meetings and engagements.
- Prepare and present progress reports to the Board, NTUC management, and external stakeholders (e.g., Government, SNEF).
- Support strategic decision-making through timely and accurate reporting.
Job Requirements
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- At least 3–5 years of experience in strategic planning, policy analysis, or project management.
- Strong understanding of workforce development and job security issues.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Familiarity with technology development and integration will be advantageous.
