Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore invites applications to support the Head Logistics in managing infrastructure and finance matters for the SAF Medical Training Institute (SMTI). • Strong system discipline in the fulfilment of routine procedures.

What The Role Is

What You Will Be Working On

• Prepare the Training Institute (TI) for annual infrastructure and logistics audits and execute remedial actions following audit findings
• Maintain all infrastructure through regular inspections and liaise with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) for maintenance as required
• Process all end-to-end finance transactions such as track purchase requests, orders, and goods received to ensure prudent usage aligned to existing guidelines
• Guide personnel on finance processes and address queries on finance-related matters
• Manage the maintenance of outfield-based or special-to-type training areas and facilities

Challenge(s)

• Maintaining familiarity with the wide scope of guidelines and directives pertaining to both finance and infrastructure matters

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field is preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities and infrastructure management or finance operations
• Ability to ensure timely processing of transactions and maintain financial compliance
• Organised, meticulous and ability to manage multiple ongoing processes concurrently
