Job summary

MINDEF's Singapore Armed Forces Medical Training Institute (SMTI) is seeking a capable logistics and finance lead to manage the Log section, supervise NSFs, and coordinate through IFM for infrastructure and procurement support.

The role involves audit readiness, end-to-end finance processing, contract and equipment oversight, and ensuring timely course logistics for SMTI training activities. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics, finance, medical, and/or training-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage permanent staff in the Log section and supervise NSFs.
• Prepare SMTI for infrastructure and finance audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide updates to senior management on logistics and finance matters.
• Oversee infrastructure upkeep and liaise with Integrated Facilities Management for maintenance.
• Ensure end-to-end processing of all finance transactions within SMTI.
• Oversee purchase requests, orders and goods receipt to ensure prudent use of resources.
• Manage TI contracts and equipment in line with contractual terms.
• Coordinate logistics for TI courses and ICTs, including trainee in-/out-processing.
• Ensure timely handling of logistics routine tasks such as laundry, indents, and procurement tracking.
• Maintain TI-owned platforms and training facilities in good condition.
