Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director (Finance), this position is responsible for administering finance and procurement functions, ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of transparency and accountability. This role requires close collaboration with both internal teams and external agencies to strengthen the Gallery's funding ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Finance
  • Manage budget tracking, utilisation and reconciliation across accounting and procurement systems.
  • Manage the utilisation of contingency pool, donations and grants.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for departments and management.
Procurement
  • Manage procurement operations, including reviewing procurement submissions and guiding departments on procurement best practices.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with governance frameworks and audit requirements.
Others
  • Support statutory audits, governance reviews and compliance activities, ensuring readiness and responsiveness to audit queries.
  • Participate in transformation initiatives to streamline financial and procurement processes.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • ACCA or Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Procurement or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of progressive accounting and procurement experience, preferably within the charity, non-profit or public sector.
  • Hands‑on experience with grants management and accounting/ERP systems (e.g. SAP), will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in using Pivot Tables, Power BI and data analysis tools to generate insightful reports.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver accurate outputs.
