Job summary

Ethos is seeking a senior counsel to help train a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role requires 4+ years reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and ownership of redlining, diligence reviews, and contract risk analysis.

This is fully remote with flexible 5-20 hours per week, start ASAP, compensation at $100 per hour. The ideal candidate has exceptional drafting, attention to detail, and can communicate complex terms clearly across workflows

Qualifications

• 4+ years reviewing commercial agreements as a lawyer or contracts manager.
• Direct ownership of redlining, negotiating, or due-diligence review.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Redline and negotiate commercial contracts and due-diligence issue lists.
• Produce clause-risk analyses and negotiation position summaries.
• Review NDAs and vendor agreements; track obligations and renewals.
